Tracks and Host Sims

Misp is the MotoSL home sim with a full GP road course.

For season one we tested in Pro Racer sim, raced in Misp then had a bunch of away races in NEWare. This was to get variety and it was a lot of fun. This season most races will be held at Misp.
Misp’s new sister sim, Mooz, will be a regular host track through out the season and like Misp, will feature bike rezzers availble for practice 24/7.

There may be temp tracks set up a various host sims a few times throughout the series and any other tracks that appear will be fully considered.
(at the time of writing this blog there are 2 other tracks under construction who wish to host rounds of MotoSL)

Want to host a race in your sim?
If you have an empty or near empty island sim then SL-MRA may set up a temp track at your location.
If you have a track and would like to host a round of MotoSL then your track will be inspected to see if it meets the low lag and other requirements.
The track *should (*each track will be judged on it’s own merrit) be at least 20m wide. 25m is preferred. 30m is good too.
Because of how the race bikes are scripted they can only run on tracks that are level and placed at 95M height or lower. (this may change though flat tracks are greatly prefered)
The sim must be a private island. Main land lag prevents racing. The sim must be under a light load. Laggy sims will be rejected.
If you have a fairly clean sim, but no track and still want to host a race then the SL-MRA will come to inspect your sim. If the conditions warrant then a temp track may be constructed. The temp track can be purchased and made permanent if desired.
